Booking Conditions
Please read these booking conditions carefully before making a reservation with Nature Destinations & Safaris (NDS). These terms explain our responsibilities, payment and cancellation policies, and important travel information.
1. Booking & Confirmation
A booking is confirmed once you have paid a deposit (if required) and received written confirmation from NDS. All bookings are subject to availability and our confirmation email will detail your itinerary, total price, and any special conditions.
2. Payments
Full payment terms will be shown on your booking confirmation invoice. Deposits may be required to secure permits (e.g., gorilla permits) or special services. Payment methods and due dates will be outlined in the invoice.
3. Changes & Cancellations
If you need to change or cancel your booking, please contact us as soon as possible. Cancellation fees may apply depending on supplier terms, park permit policies, and time before travel. NDS will always aim to minimize charges and rebook where feasible.
4. Health & Safety
Guests are responsible for ensuring they meet visa, vaccination and health requirements for travel. Some activities (e.g., gorilla trekking) have fitness requirements; please contact us to discuss suitability. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
5. Liability
NDS acts as an agent for hotels, transport providers, guides, and third-party suppliers. We exercise care in selecting suppliers but cannot accept liability for loss, damage, injury, or death caused by third parties or unforeseeable events. Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the services in question.
6. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure to perform due to events beyond our control such as natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, strikes, or closure of borders. In such cases we will assist in rebooking and minimizing disruption where possible.
7. Complaints
If you have a complaint while traveling, please inform your local guide or our office immediately so we can attempt to resolve it. Formal complaints should be emailed to info@naturedestinationsandsafaris.rw within 14 days of the end of your trip.
